Weston and I met one another after a youth group outing and began talking to one another nonstop! After Weston took my dad out to lunch and asked his permission to date me, he was given the go ahead and we became an couple! We knew from the start we wanted to get married! Young! As individuals we had worked at creating a lifestyle with God's truth as our foundation and desired a relationship with Him as our center. Our weaknesses are the other's strength and visa-versa. We dated for a year and 9 months before Wes and my dad had another lunch date! Christmas night after driving around Winding Brook to see the lights, we went back to his parents for the moment we had all been waiting for! He opened the door and the house was covered in rose petals and candles! He lead me to the back of the house where out the window spelled out "Will you marry me?" in Christmas lights! I said YES! So, we are starting to plan the journey of a life time of unforgettable memories as two best friends! Because ultimately we are better together for God's Kingdom then we are apart! |
