On Friday, September 12th the Niles Haunted House Scream Park will open its gates for its 41st Year of Fear!
THE PLACE EVERYONE'S BEEN SCREAMING ABOUT!
The Niles Haunted House Scream Park is not just scary, it is considered by many to be one of the top haunted attractions in the country! Certainly one of the largest, the Niles Haunted House offers 44 acres of blood-curdling fear! Unlike other haunted houses, Niles rebuilds all 6 attractions each year to provide you with completely new and unique shows. The professionally designed sets and ingenious scare-tactics led The Niles Haunted House Scream Park to be recognized by Haunted Attraction Magazine as one of the “Top 31 Must-See Haunted Attractions” nationwide! This is no mere roadside attraction! Come visit one of the country's premier Haunted Houses!
44 acres of fun for all ages, it will scare the “yell” out of you! The Scream Park will feature The Niles Haunted House 2014: Misfit Monster Mansion, Curse of the Dark Walker, Tomb of the Undead-3D, Field of Screams: Legends of Horror, the Dark Terror-tory Haunted Hayride: Museum of the Macabre, and Zendor Presents: “Igor's Hi-Tech Mystery Tour.”
The midway has several attractions such as Fry Freddy Basketball, the Blade, the Spooky Splatt Paintball shooting gallery and (you gotta see it to believe it) the X-Terminator. Also featured is the Scream Machine where you get to scare unsuspecting strangers!
The Scream Park, staffed by volunteers from more than 65 area non-profit groups, is located at 855 Mayflower Road, just east of U.S. 31 Exit #5 (the Niles-Buchanan Road exit) in Niles, Michigan. This attraction is geared to people from high school age through young adult. If Notre Dame football players are scared, they can scare you too!
Parental guidance is required. Although many small children go through the Haunted House and are delighted, we cannot recommend it. If your child is afraid of the dark, please let them enjoy the hayride (for children at least six years old) and the midway attractions, which are intended for everyone.
There are many possible paths to take through the Niles Haunted House—take advantage of discount pricing for repeat trips while you are at the Park. The themes and displays change every year. Several different on-site vendors offer food and there is also a dry place to sit, talk, watch the activities, watch a movie and eat.
Important notices: Metal detectors are used at the Scream Park's entrance. For obvious reasons, no weapons of any kind are allowed on the premises (that includes off-duty police officers). Lighters, cameras, knives, guns are all banned. Smoking is not allowed on the midway or in any attraction. Alcohol, chemicals and profanity are also prohibited. The Niles Haunted House is not the place for claustrophobics - unless you are testing the limits of your adrenal gland. The Dark Terror-tory Haunted Hayride may be just right for you. If you hyperventilate and don't make it all the way through the attractions, your money will not be refunded.
